Workshop: Collective Care

Collective Care: Rethinking Care beyond the Individual, Together

What if care was never meant to be carried alone? This workshop explores Collective Care — a feminist, queer, and Black practice rooted in the belief that our well-being and survival are bound up with one another's. Together we'll ask how capitalism and colonialism came to individualise care and rest, and how we might return to more community oriented, interdependent ways of holding each other. We'll trace Collective Care back to its liberatory roots, gently question and challenge the concept itself. Let's look for ways on how we fill up words like responsibility and well-being. And try out holding multiple truths at once. Expect warmth, curiosity, and collective imagination — space to think and feel together, not alone

The workshop will take place in English.
